Plane Belonging to Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Involved in Deadly Crash

A plane owned by Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was involved in a deadly crash at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred when a small jet arriving from Austin, Texas, veered off the runway and collided with a larger jet.

The crash resulted in one fatality and left four others injured. According to ABC 15 Arizona, it appears that the left main gear of the landing plane failed, causing the aircraft to go off course.

In a statement on social media, Neil’s spokesperson, Worrick Robinson, confirmed that the jet was owned by the musician but clarified that Neil was not on board at the time of the crash. “At 2:39 p.m. local time, a Learjet aircraft Model 35A owned by Vince Neil was attempting to land at Scottsdale Airport. For reasons unknown at this time, the plane veered from the runway and collided with another parked plane,” Robinson said. “On board Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers.” Robinson also mentioned that more details were unavailable due to the ongoing investigation.

In the statement, Robinson added, “Vince Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved. He is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.”

Reports from TMZ revealed that Neil’s girlfriend, Rain Hannah, was aboard the plane and sustained serious injuries, including five broken ribs. Hannah and another passenger, Ashley, are reportedly being treated for their injuries at a local hospital.

This tragic news follows another recent aviation disaster when a U.S. Army helicopter collided mid-air with an American Airlines plane over the Potomac River in Arlington, Virginia, killing all 67 people on board.
