Jack White Shares Live EP and Announces $20 Student Tickets for ‘No Name’ Tour
Jack White is making waves with his latest move to benefit fans, offering an affordable ticket option for students and releasing a new live EP. Just days after speaking out about critics who expect lengthy performances from artists, White has announced that students can purchase $20 tickets for all upcoming dates on his ongoing No Name Tour.
Taking to social media on February 10, White shared the exciting news, explaining that a limited number of student tickets will be available for purchase in-person at each venue’s box office on the day of the show. “These tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis with a valid student ID (1 ticket per student ID),” he wrote. This move comes as part of White’s ongoing efforts to combat high ticket prices, following in the footsteps of bands like Fugazi, who famously charged only $5 for entry, and The Cure, who have also tried to make their shows more accessible. In 2024, Robert Smith of The Cure criticized ticket sellers for being “driven by greed” and capped ticket prices at $20, though some service fees ended up costing more than the tickets themselves.
In addition to his ticketing generosity, Jack White also dropped a new release on February 12—a five-track live EP titled No Name Live. The EP features live recordings from his 2024 album No Name, including tracks like “That’s How I’m Feeling,” “Archbishop Harold Holmes,” “Morning at Midnight,” and “Rough on Rats (If You’re Asking).”
