Madonna Confirms Confessions Part 2 Is on the Way
Madonna has officially confirmed that her highly anticipated new album will be a sequel to her 2005 iconic record Confessions on a Dance Floor. The pop superstar took to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting a series of studio photos featuring her longtime collaborator, producer Stuart Price. The clip is set to her track “Future Lovers,” offering a sneak peek into the creative process.
In her Valentine’s Day message, Madonna shared her excitement with her fans: “My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you! Confessions Part 2.”
A Longstanding Collaboration with Stuart Price
The update comes after Madonna revealed in December that she had been working with Stuart Price, further fueling anticipation for the upcoming release. The duo has had a fruitful partnership for over two decades, beginning with Confessions on a Dance Floor and extending to Price’s involvement in three of Madonna’s tours. Their recent collaboration on the Celebration tour in 2023 continues to strengthen their creative bond.

In her December post, Madonna expressed how working on the new music has been a cathartic experience. “These past few months have been medicine for my soul,” she shared. “Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission. The upcoming album will mark Madonna’s first release since her 2019 album Madame X. Fans can expect Confessions Part 2 to continue her exploration of disco and electro-pop while delving deeper into her personal and emotional expression.
