Blur Bassist Announces Star-Studded Lineup for 14th Annual Event

Alex James, bassist for Blur and renowned cheesemaker, has revealed the exciting lineup for the 14th Big Feastival, which will take place from August 22 to 24 at his farm in Kingham, Oxfordshire. The annual festival, which blends live music with food attractions, promises an unforgettable weekend for festival-goers.

A Unique Britpop Classical Set

James, who is also known for his passion for food, will headline the festival with a special Britpop classical set on Sunday night. He will be joined by a live band and a full orchestra, delivering a performance that brings a fresh orchestral twist to Britpop classics. James expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s going to be a unique and fitting way to close the event.”

He added, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be welcoming everyone back to the farm for our 14th year of Big Feastival. We’ve pulled out all the stops to create a weekend packed with incredible music, top-notch food, and something for the whole family to enjoy.”

Headliners and Special Guests

Friday’s headliner will be Nelly Furtado, known for her hit “I’m Like a Bird,” while Saturday will see the iconic dance act Faithless take the stage, famous for classics like “Insomnia” and “God Is A DJ.” Other notable performances will come from Travis, The Wombats, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who will join the festival as special guests.

The Big Feastival continues to be a celebration of music, food, and family fun, with a star-studded lineup that promises something for everyone.
