Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars to Pay Tribute to Los Angeles Wildfire Victims at the 2025 Grammy Awards

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars will join forces for a musical tribute to the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires during the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 2.

The 38-year-old singer-actress will perform alongside the “Locked Out of Heaven” hitmaker at the Crypto.com Arena in a special performance dedicated to “the city of Los Angeles and those affected by the wildfires,” as announced by the Recording Academy.

Both artists are nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration “Die With a Smile.” Gaga’s fans will likely not be surprised by this performance, as she has graced the Grammy stage almost every year since her debut. Her most recent performance was in 2022, when she honored her late friend Tony Bennett. Bruno Mars also performed at the 2022 ceremony as part of Silk Sonic.

In other news, the Recording Academy revealed on Friday, January 31, 2025, that Shaboozey, the only country artist nominated for Best New Artist, has been added to the list of performers. The country singer is also nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and for Best Melodic Rap Performance for his collaboration with Beyoncé and Linda Martell on “Spaghettii.”

Confirmed performers for this year’s ceremony include Stevie Wonder, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, “Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo, Lainey Wilson, Herbie Hancock, Brittany Howard, Brad Paisley, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, and Jacob Collier. They will join previously-announced acts such as Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims, Shakira, Raye, Benson Boone, and Doechii. The event will again be hosted by Trevor Noah.

This year’s Grammy broadcast will also help raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honor the bravery of first responders. The Recording Academy and MusiCares launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort to Support Music Professionals last week, already raising over $4 million in emergency aid.

The devastating wildfires have claimed at least 25 lives, caused widespread destruction across California, and forced more than 100,000 residents to evacuate their homes.
